Bilia acquires Lunds Bil i Varberg AB, a BMW dealer in Varberg, Sweden
Bilia has reached an agreement to acquire Lunds Bil i Varberg AB. The operation is conducted in a facility in Varberg, Sweden. Lunds Bil i Varberg AB consists of one full-service facility with sales and service of BMW cars. The deal is expected to take place during the first quarter of 2025. The CEO and owner of the business will continue to work in the company.
During the business year 2023/24, Lunds Bil i Varberg AB's turnover amounted to approximately SEK 178 million, with an operating margin of 4.5 percent. The number of employees was 16 people at the end of 2023.
The purchase price on a debt and cash-free basis amounts to approximately SEK 90 million and will consist of cash and 28,000 of Bilia’s own shares. The Bilia shares will be valued at the average share price on Nasdaq Stockholm during the ten trading days prior to the payment of the purchase price. Bilia currently has 4,292,577 own shares.
