At Bilia, all employees should have the ability to develop in a working climate that encourages dedication to achieve set goals. All of this requires good leadership, and at Bilia we therefore place a premium on identifying and developing the Group’s leaders.
To ensure we’re on the right path, we use employee surveys, as well as ongoing dialogue and check-ins with employees.
Plan for personal development
Every year, all our co-workers have at least one performance review with their immediate manager. It provides an opportunity to discuss their role in the company and to raise any issues regarding changes, thoughts and ideas on how the individual can take on greater responsibility or other kinds of work tasks. Together, the employee and their immediate manager arrive at a plan to promote personal development, job satisfaction and efficiency in the day-to-day work.
Customised training
At Bilia you have opportunities to take training courses tailored to different roles and levels of qualification. As a manager, you can take leadership courses at Bilia Academy. These courses are available at several levels and include, for instance, fundamental education in leadership, communication, presentation technique and management by objectives, and they cover concrete topics necessary to being a manager at Bilia, such as finance, business acumen, recruitment, negotiation and HR issues.
For engineers and sales personnel, there are training courses at several different levels. Bilia’s proprietary RACE concept contains processes and methods for how we work in car sales, damage centres and service centres. The RACE processes provide guidance in how to handle different situations to achieve the best results.
By following set procedures, we achieve efficient flows and quality assure our working approach. Our general agents provide ongoing, brand-specific courses, in which sales personnel and engineers complete training in the latest models from each manufacturer.
As a new employee, you have an opportunity to undergo our orientation programme, which familiarises you with Bilia’s corporate culture. Besides the focus on culture, the aim is also to build networks between departments, companies and regions.

Employees of Bilia enjoy a range of benefits such as staff discount on our products and services, a health and fitness subsidy, and discounts on e.g. gym memberships and insurance, as well as a special employee bonus that is paid into a pension fund.

Health and teambuilding
Bilia wants to be involved in sponsoring health-promoting and teambuilding activities. As well as gym discounts and health and fitness subsidies, we also encourage local activities that promote health and community. One example is the Bilia Health Race, which enables employees who take part in some kind of team activity such as running a race, for example. Another example is the initiative we have to provide training and exercise at our facilities.
